Our Approach
Collaborating with local stakeholders, such as Agricultural Colleges, in training and development. Partnering with diverse community groups interested in agricultural food production work in the greenhouse for 6 to 8 months and living in a rural town. The CanAsia team provides all logistics support in food products, processing, business networks, and marketing in collaboration with local farmers and suppliers. This would create additional food supplies for a few months during summer, reduce imports from neighboring countries, enhance capacity building of Alberta’s agricultural food production and contribute to the economy. Moreover, it offers a clear choice for nature-loving people to relocate to small towns with less congestion in city living, thereby enhancing the quality of life for the community.
Passion, Mission and Vision
Passion
We are passionate about working with natural gifts of land and sunlight, combined with human skills and traditions, collaborating with innovative agricultural technology, invest in finance and manpower. Make a difference to our planet and contribute to the environment through agrarian efforts with greener vegetation approaches to fight climate change, boost biodiversity, and uplift local farming communities through eco-system gardening.
Mission
We aim to apply local resources in Alberta and benefit rural economy development by partnering with Canadian agricultural colleges and global partners. This initiative would increase capacity building in sharing knowledge and experience in agriculture and food production, creating business opportunities, and increasing market demand for logistic supplies locally and globally, benefiting rural Alberta and economic growth through agricultural food products. Currently, the Canadian government emphasizes agrarian food production and security, taking advantage of technological innovation in AI smart farming and greenhouse development, using renewable energy, and increasing food production capacity from traditionally 4 months to 8 months (March to October).
Vision
By 2025, we aim to extend our successful project from North America to Asian regions. This expansion will increase capacity building in sharing knowledge and experience in agriculture and food production for local and global markets and create job opportunities for residents. More importantly, it will significantly contribute to the economic growth of partnering countries, aligning with their agricultural development goals.
